Tony T. Chan, CFP®, EA
REGISTERED INVESTMENT ADVISER & TAX SPECIALIST
Upon graduating from the California State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and minoring in Military Science, and after receiving his commission from California State University of Fullerton Army ROTC, he decided to pursue his goal of becoming a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner.
Tony has more than ten plus years of experience in financial planning and tax services. He has extensive knowledge in advising clients from various income levels on comprehensive retirement plans, portfolio analysis, tax planning, debt & risk management, and estate planning. He has made contributions to articles such as "InvestmentNews" and "Capital Ideas".
He is also a proud member of the Orange County Financial Planning Association, The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and the XY Planning Network. Tony is a nominee for 2016 class of InvestmentNews 40Under40. & a nominee for 2018 class of CPA Practice Advisor 40Under40.

Garrett Jones, CFP®, EA
FINANCIAL PLANNING & TAX SPECIALIST
By 2014, he retired from the U.S. Army and was successfully employed as an Administrative Assistant in in the financial planning department at a CPA firm in Southern California. Working in financial planning gave Garrett the critical experience and networking he needed to become successful, but he knew that he couldn’t rest on his laurels. In 2015, he obtained a M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from the College of Financial Planning. He progressed to earn his Certified Financial Planner designation while working at Tax & Financial Group as a Financial Planner in 2016. In 2018, he took up the mantle of Vice President-Wealth Planner at Wells Fargo Private Bank in downtown Los Angeles. Ultimately, all of these experiences culminated in him taking the most critical step in being a partner of Crossroads Planning LLC.
Garrett has utilized his years of experience in finance to give back to the military community. He has reached out to the community by providing comprehensive planning and tax advisement. His industry strengths include: advanced retirement planning, advanced estate plan design, insurance analysis and philanthropic planning. Through Behavioral Finance and Family System Theory, he strives to connect with his clients to drive the planning process to uniquely tailor to each individual’s needs.

Brandon Pope, EA
OPERATIONS & TAX SPECIALIST
To better accommodate this new career, Brandon obtained the IRS Enrolled Agent designation and QuickBooks certification while graduating from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Finance.
Currently, Brandon has completed the CFP® required course work and will sit for the exam at the end of 2020. NextGen has played a critical role in Brandon's professional development, and he has continued to play a role within the organization. He has volunteered his time by setting up financial planning events for NextGen and Cal-State University, Fullerton's Personal Financial Planning Program. He has also volunteered for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), a program that helps low to moderate-income workers. Never forgetting his modest background, Brandon's willingness to help others is what drives his dedication to learning.
